The Culture of Bangladesh 


           The culture of one country referrers to the way the people live their life in that particular country. Bangladesh is an ancient country which is enriched with the magnificent culture. The culture of this country includes language, literature, music, painting, clothing, living style and so on. The culture of Bangladesh is a diverse culture as the main religion follows in this country are Muslim, Hindu, Christian, and others. One of the well known festival of Bangladesh is Pohela Baishakh (The first day of Bangla new-year). pohela Baishakh is celebrated on the first day of Bangla new-year. This is a public holiday on this day different cultural organizations arranged several program to celebrate the day.           Bangladesh is also a land which is rich with folklore, philosophy, literature and festivals. Furthermore, the traditional music of Bangladesh is much similar with its neighbor countries India, Pakistan, and Nepal. The music of Bangladesh can be divided into three main categories, such as classical, folk and modern. There are many traditional song of Bangladesh are going to distinct due to the pop and band music. The traditional song of Bangladesh namely, Jari, Shari, Vatia are very ancient. In addition another main cultural show of Bangladesh is paw-pet show. In the village area when there is any fair, pawpet show will be one of the part of that. The language of Bangladesh, Bangla also bring a cultural heritage in the history of this country. Bangla is one of the world old language.             the vechels run by cows is also one of the part of Bangladesh culture. During the old days when there was no modern vehicles, then people use the cow vehicles as the mean of transportation. Now if there is any cultural function arrange to show the culture of Bangladesh the vehicles is one of the main things to show. Bangladesh is also one of the biggest centers of art and crafts in the Indian subcontinent. the Nakshi katha which is an embroidered quilt first originated in Bangladesh. Bangladesh is also well known for the handicrafts like pottery works, jute works,metal ware, textile and so on, are some of the industries that are flourishing in Bangladesh.
