The Food of Bangladesh

 

        The cooking style of Bangladesh is known as culinary art which has been followed by the generation after generation to keep the tradition of food. The food is usually made by the fresh blended fragrant spices that makes people eat more and more. The daily recipe for Bangladeshi people is vat(rice) with fish, vegetables and Dal. The eating habit of Bangladeshi people is so healthy as in every day's recipe fish, vegetable and rice will be included which contain an ample amounts of protein, vitamins, carbohydrate.

           
         The rice is eaten by the Bangladeshi people are two kind one is normal boiled rice and another one byriani (fried-rice). Usually for every days people eat the boiled rice on the other hand, people eat byriani on the special occasion like, Eid, marriage ceremony, and in any others parties.           As a curry to eat with the rice Bangladeshi people mostly prefer  various kind of fish. There is a popular saying about Bangladesh--
                             "Mase vate Bangali which means bangali with fish and rice"

       Bangladesh has got plenty of rivers and ponds from which people cultivate ample of fishes therefore the price of fish is cheaper than any other thing. As the price of fishes cheap and it can fulfill oue requirement therefore for the daily recipe people prefer fish with rice.           Bangladesh is also famous for it's delicious sweets. The famous sweets are namely, Misti Dhohi, flat Chana, Sweetened Yogurt, Sandesh, Rasgolla, Ras Malai, Kalojam, Pudding etc are unique milk based dessert. Taste a Pranhara (heart winner) or a lady Kenny (named after Lady Kenning, wife of the British Governor of East India Company) and you will know what it means! Kheer is also a great tasty milk based dessert. A messenger who would carry good news to a relative or a man also accompanies those sweets.
